During today's visit, your animal has had a permanent needle to make it easier for me to give medicine.

Think about this:

+ A small, tender swelling at the site of the needle is common.

   Contact me if the swelling where the needle was sitting would be hot, hard or sore.

+ If your pet has a patch where the needle has been placed, remove the patch in a few hours.
